It’s almost hard to believe it’s been 20 years since the release of Goodie Mob’s landmark Dirty South album. Martell celebrated the milestone by bigging up the architect of the album classic LP’s sound, production team Organized Noize.

An intimate dinner was held at Restaurant Eugene in Atlanta and the special guests got to see a preview of the forthcoming documentary The Art of Organized Noize, which is directed by Quincy Jones III (and executive produced by Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere of Flavor Unit Films).

It was Organized Noize who introduced OutKast to the world, cooked up hits for the likes of TLC and En Vogue and helped put Atlanta on the map as far as the music industry is concerned. If none of this rings a bell, look up the Dungeon Family.

Check out photos from the dinner with attendees that included DTP’s Chaka Zulu, Jermaine Dupri, Big Tigger and of course Organized Noize (Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown) and the Goodie Mob, below and on the following pages.
