A California teen allegedly confessed to killing her boyfriend in a Facebook post before going on the run. Police in San Bernardino, Calif. are now looking for 18-year-old Nakasia James in the death of 21 year-old Dorian Powell.

Powell and James living together, and according to her Facebook page, they had been dating for just over eight months. Police were called to the location early Monday morning, Powell was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death was the result of a domestic altercation, per James’ post.  “Just gone tell ya new be4 [sic] I get caught,” she allegedly wrote. “Last night my ex was drunk off ej & was [fighting] me, hit me in the face and we was really [fighting] and I [got] the knife and stabbed him.”

James goes on to write that she was protecting herself after Powell “socked” her in the eye. The post says she didn’t think he was hurt at first, but“he died and I’m on the run.”

She ends the post, “Sorry lord hopefully u forgive me! And sorry Dorian Powell rip.”

James is encouraged to turn herself in, she has not been formally charged. “Nakasia is aware that she is being sought in connection with this homicide,” San Bernardino police said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times. “At this time it does appear to be related to a domestic disturbance inside the apartment.”

The Facebook confession has since been deleted.
