Chicago’s Lil Reese copped his first 2016 arrest Saturday night (Jan. 30) for indirect criminal contempt. Though the details of his bust aren’t specific, Reese is expected to be in jail until sometime next week.
Per Complex, the bust involves his 2014 felony gun possession arrest. Back then, Reese accused cops of planting a gun on him. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office website confirms his arrest. He has not received a bail amount.
This is the fourth time Reese has been arrested in the last four years. He is currently in custody at the Cook County Jail.
A hearing in Reese’s case is scheduled for today.
