Bobby Shmurda‘s legal struggle continues. After initially being moved from June 2015 to a February 2016 start date, the Brooklyn rapper’s conspiracy trial has now been pushed back to May.
XXL reports that the “Hot Ni**a” rappers trial will now begin on May 11. The previous trial start date was supposed to be February 22.
Shmurda has been in jail ever since his arrest in late December 2014 in New York City. Despite multiple attempts, Shmurda’s bail requests have been denied; most recently in January 2016.
If and when his proper day in court commences, Shmurda’s trial group will include fellow GS9 rapper Rowdy Rebel.
