The Twitterverse is becoming easier and easier to troll. LL Cool J tried it out yesterday (Mach 14) when he pretended to retire from music, to promote new music.

Confusing right?

Basically,“Ladies Love Cool James” released footage of a Dr. Dre collaboration that may not have been as lyrically pristine as fans would’ve expected. One line in particular: “I’m ’bout to make this sh*t pop off like fish fry batter,” left everybody puzzled.

Next up, LL announced that he was retiring, but later explained that it was a joke.

He’s actually “coming out of retirement” to kill the rap game once more.

The rapper-turned-actor told Okayplayer, “I’m definitely in the process of digging in the crates, so to speak. I’m sifting through MP3s as we speak, baby. And I’m going to put something out there that’ll be really special. It’s going to change a lot in hip-hop when my next project comes.”

But don’t call it a comeback. He’s been here for years.
