Of course, Kendrick Lamar was the one who gave them their proper due. N.W.A was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last night, with the fellow Compton rapper delivering a poignant speech honoring the world’s most dangerous group.

It went down at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last night. Although the show won’t air until the end of the month (April 30 at 8 pm EST on HBO), images and video immediately started popping up on social media.

“N.W.A, man. I said, N.W.A, man! What it do, boy. The world’s most dangerous group. It’s five members that I can recall having pivotal roles while forming this type of Voltron, y’all,” said Kendrick.

Even MC Ren aka The Villain, almost cracked a smile. So you know it was real.

Congrats to N.W.A. Peep Kendrick Lamar’s full speech at Rolling Stone.
