The Don Corleone of the Auto-Tune sound has returned and gets simply creative with his latest visual. For the clip to his latest cut “Look At Me” T-Pain does what even the most struggle rapper has yet to do and shoot an entire music video selfie style using nothing but his iPhone.
Using – while promoting – the TY-LYTE phone case, T-Pain actually manages to pull off the lowest of budgets music visual in a pitch black room and made it an entertaining watch. Having a few attractive models playing the background surely didn’t hurt either.
Macklemore also utilizes his iPhone to bring life to his track as goes international with it just to get his selfie on in the visuals to “Brad Pitt’s Cousin.”
And while Mack seems to have spent a pretty penny to get the proper backdrops for his clip, Pain seems to have only spent data and GB’s for his. Expect many artists to follow suit.
