Always slick with the wordplay, Harlem rap veteran Smoke DZA displays his sharp penmanship on a new track titled “Opera.”

A finely chopped sample of Lamont Dozier’s “Rose” (familiarly used by Kanye West to create Shyne’s “More or Less”) gives the song an embedded familiarity. Then DZA arrives with bars in tow, wasting no lines as he delivers a mixture of braggadocio and some game for listeners to absorb.
