Wale is back with a new single, and the song channels the late, great Michael Jackson. The Washington D.C. rapper dropped “My P.Y.T.” from his forthcoming, fifth studio album, Shine, due out later this year.
“My P.Y.T.’s” stuttering groove is produced by The Dope Boyz and interpolates the King of Pop’s classic “P.Y.T.” Yeah, that’s the MMG rapper getting his croon on for the hook.
As for Shine—the follow up to 2015’s The Album About Nothing—the project’s’s title is an acronym for Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy. Don’t Bank on Wale staying off social media, though.
