TDE’s CEO Top Dawg isn’t feeling the “support” fans have given Schoolboy Q‘s newest single “THat Part” featuring Kanye West.

Gone are the days of yore when a rap star would drop a song and fans would be all over it — specifically, supporters would put their money behind new releases. Still, TDE general Top Dawg doesn’t want to hear any excuses.

ScHoolboy Q dropped “THat Part” with Kanye West as a featured artist and although the Oxymoron creator has more than a million followers online, the track barely sold 26,000 units since it dropped in early May.

The song is to be Q’s lead single on his forthcoming album, which is rumored to have been completed since April. He and Yeezy even recorded a video for it, so the fans’ anticipation ought to be there, especially since the rapper’s last album dropped back in 2014 and according to Top Dawg, the people stay asking for new music.

Top Dawg put his fingers to work on Twitter on Sunday (May 29) to pose the very necessary question — if Q has more than 1.5 million followers, why doesn’t that reflect in his sales?

Top may have a real point though. If you’re a fan, put your money where your mouth is.
