Madonna threw some shade right back at BET for the tweet they sent out after her Billboard Awards Prince tribute.
BET joined the rest of the world in voicing their disapproval of Madonna’s Prince tribute at the 2016 Billboard Awards in late-May. Almost immediately after she finished her performance of “Purple Rain” and Sinead O’Connor‘s “Nothing Compares 2 U” [written by Prince], BET sent out a since-deleted tweet mocking the pop star and promising a better tribute at the 2016 BET Awards.
Madonna wasted no time and shot back with a series of Instagram posts.
