ScHoolboy Q thinks his TDE partner Kendrick Lamar is a great rapper, but he thinks the fandom is getting out of hand.
ScHoolboy Q is one of the best rappers out, but in some eyes he’s not even the best rapper in his crew. That title is usually handed to his guy Kendrick Lamar. But with a platinum album, a handful of hits and a busy tour schedule, Q is no slouch himself and thinks people need to stop sleeping on him.
So when he stopped by Shade 45 to talk with DJ Whoo Kid, Q was more than vocal about Kendrick’s fans and how they behave.
About the “disappointment” in Kendrick only delivering a hook on the song “By Any Means” that appears on his new album Blank Face LP he says:
“They love, they suck his d*ck so much. They suck Kendrick d*ck so much. He done produced on my album now. He’s featured on this…like, I played a whole song and motherfu*kers was like ‘ooh, I love the snippet.’ Like damn. That’s a three minute snippet. Like people are fu…they suck d*ck so much.”
Of course, he was saying it in jest, but not really. Q also talked about how easy it was to get Kanye West on his song “THat Part” and how prompt West was when it came time to shoot the video.
