With the help of Nas as an executive producer, Netflix promises that their forthcoming series The Get Down will be an authentic depiction of Hip-Hop’s inception in The Bronx during the late 70s. Today, Miguel’s contribution to the soundtrack arrives on the Internets.

Premiered via Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show, the track is a rework of Hot Chocolate’s 1976 record “Heaven is In the Backseat of My Cadillac.” Miguel’s version, titled “Cadillac,” is a sultry tune. The kind you play when you’re with your significant other just before… you know.
