13-year old rapper and slapper of grown women’s backsides, Lil Poopy just signed a new record deal with Epic Records.

Lil Poopy, or Luis Rivera Jr. as he’s known to his classmates at East Middle School, got signed to a four-year deal with Epic/Sony Records on Friday, said Devon Sydney, who is managing the rapper alongside Luis Andrade of Brockton.The Brockton boy, who’s been performing for several years and recently starred in the nationally televised Lifetime reality show The Rap Game, called it “a major breaking point” as he pursues his hip hop dreams.“All of the older people – older friends – always underestimated me,” Lil Poopy said. “They like me now. … I just want them to know that I’m coming for the top. They better be ready.”
Poopy first rose to prominence as a member French Montana’s Coke Boys collective with his 2012 mixtape Coke Ain’t A Bad Word. On it he rapped about everything from drugs to cars to sex. The lyrics and videos released from it alarmed some people to point that a child abuse investigation was launched against his father, Luis Rivera Jr.
After a couple years of flying below the radar, Poopy popped back up again as a cast member of the Lifetime channel’s The Rap Game which featured Jermaine Dupri looking for the next young rap star. Poopy was favored to win the competition but came in second place behind Miss Mulato.
