Just when you thought you couldn’t find something uglier than James Harden‘s defense, voila! Photos of his highly-anticipated first signature shoe have leaked and Twitter is roasting it over an open fire.
The sneaker community has been waiting to see what the Harden 1 was going to look like ever since the All-Star guard left the Nike swoosh to roll with the three stripes for a reported $200 million, 13-year deal. Especially after that commercial where they drove several dump trucks to his crib and blessed him with just about every sneaker they ever made.
After a few pump fakes and ads, it seems like we are finally getting a glimpse at the shoe and, yeah.
According to Sneaker Watch, these are the “Triple Black” Harden 1’s. It appears to have a synthetic or leather upper with a white BOOST midsole and translucent outsole. The outsole also features his signature.
Of course, Twitter has wasted no time going in on these atrocities. The slander is quickly approaching Steph Curry II Low levels.
