This is a game changer. A Popeyes in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood is going to be offering delivery of its famed fried chicken.
Reports DNAInfo New York:
A new outpost of the fast-food chain that opened Monday at 252 Eighth Ave., between West 22nd and West 23rd streets, may launch delivery service for neighbors, its general manager said.
The eatery is considering a delivery option for nearby buildings, as well as offering a discount for seniors, GM Gina Effah said.
“I know there are a few schools around here, and there are a lot of businesses,” she added of the location. “We figured it’d be perfect.”
The outpost serves standard Popeyes fare, including “Handcrafted Spicy Tenders,” a “Seafood Po’ Boy” sandwich and buttermilk biscuits.
Wait, the general manager said this and not corporate?
We’ll believe it when we see it…
