On Wednesday, Oct. 5, Atlanta becomes a swirling dervish of concerts, networking, panel discussions, and much more for the 2016 A3C Festival and Conference. This year, headliners include Rick Ross, Cam’Ron, Too $hort, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony among hundreds of others.

For the uninitiated, A3C dubs itself as “Hip Hop’s Biggest Stage” for a reason. For five straight days, ATL becomes a major Hip-Hop epicenter filled with both seasoned veterans and young upstarts commingling in a sprawling sea of chatter and action. In the daytime hours, A3C’s emphasis turns towards seminars and panel discussions, including media outreach, activism, social justice, along with various other themes. The festival’s dual focus of education and entertainment gives way for all to get the exact experience they want.

As stated on the flyer below, over 1,000 artists and over 75 shows will be kicking off during the five-day affair, making it nearly impossible for one person to get the full experience. However, the festival organizers introduced an app available on both Apple and Android devices that will come in handy when planning one’s route.

We’ve covered the festival in time’s past and we’re excited to do so again this year. Hip-Hop Wired’s Senior Editor Maurice Garland and Senior Writer D.L. Chandler will also be in the place as members of the media and panelists.
