Somewhere in the middle is the truth. Soulja Boy recently said he quit Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood because it was too ratchet, but the show’s executive producer, Mona Scott-Young says the rapper got fired.

SB announced he was leaving the show on Oct. 4, via Twitter.

“I’ve decided to quit Love and hip hop. I feel my brand is too big for the show now. It’s too ratchet. I have my own new tv show coming soon!,” he tweeted.

Good luck with that show. Also, SB saying anything is too ratchet, considering his entire existence, is peak irony.

Anyway, yesterday (Oct. 6), Mona Scott-Young shared an Instagram post that basically said SB actually got canned.

SB responded to Scott-Young, though, saying he finessed her out of the bag. Peep his clap back on the flip.

Who do you believe?
