Eazy-E‘s oldest daughter Ebie is re-launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund a film she claims will tell the true story about her father’s death and its aftermath.

Ever since footage resurfaced of Suge Knight going on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show and inferring that Eazy-E might have been injected with the AIDS virus, people have been wanting to know what really happened.

Ebie Wright is one of those people and she plans on sharing some revelations in a new documentary about the NWA co-founder.

A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies will examine details surrounding Eazy’s death and how his estate was split up after it.

Ebie tells Rolling Stone:

“The stories that we’re telling are mainly about the scandal surrounding my father’s death. But we also wanted to show his accomplishments, his personal life and, really, the aftermath of his demise and what happened to us. We never felt the story that was told to the public was the truth. It’s just something that has always pained us.”

“People don’t know what happened to his family or me as his kid or what happened to his record label or to all his belongings. People have the perception that we were all left everything of his and his kids are good and life is peachy keen, but it’s really not. It’s really a tragic story. And it’s just time; it needs to be told.”

“I have nothing of my father’s. I don’t have … a piece of his label. I don’t have anything.”

Ebie Wright claims the only item of her father she owns is an old “Ruthless Mafia” jacket. Ebie is not the daughter of Tomica Woods Wright, Eazy’s wife to whom the estate was left to when he died.

Wright hoped to fund the film’s production via Kickstarter, but the campaign ended and failed, falling a ways short of it’s $250,000 goal. However she and her mother plan on relaunching the campaign on Saturday, October 15.
