When it comes to Kevin Gates, there are those who think him catching 6 months in jail for kicking a teen in the chest is justice, and those who think he has been wronged after being inappropriately touched. Count his wife among the latter, and she’s letting the judge know how she feels.
Gates’ wife, Dreka, took to Instagram to bash the Polk County judge for what she basically sees as a gross miscarriage of justice.
“You mean to tell me that @iamkevingates kicked the girl in the red jumpsuit and knocked the breathe out her?,” she wrote as a caption to footage of the incident that occurred last year in a Tampa nightclub. “Because that’s what she’s been claiming and testified today in court. If anything her friend choked the f*ck out of her.”
Dreka also noted that the two witnesses (that includes the victim) gave conflicting stories and that despite the prosecution suggesting a 60 day sentence, the judge nevertheless hit him with 180 days.
She concluded with, “Are you f*cking kidding me. Inshallah justice will be served. #unjust #f*ckery #polkcounty #smfh by the way, thanks for taking my husband away from our kids (sarcasm) #itsnotoverjustyet”
