Fashion design reality TV show Project Runway had a special guest in its latest episode (Thursday, Nov. 10). Philadelphia MC Bahamadia made an appearance on the show, not as a musical guest, but to support her son who happens to be a contestant.
The current season of the show, its 15th, includes Mah-Jing Wong, a 28-year-old Philly native who is the son of the legendary rapper. Wong noted that the next chapter of his mom’s life is launching and running her record label, B-Girl Records, and signing new talent.
The episode’s challenge was to create a dress for a loved one. Peep the look Mah-Jing hooked up for mom dukes below. It must be one hell of a convo starter to have a mom who can dust most MCs, male or female.
