The Dave Chappelle comeback is official. Netflix has announced they will be bringing us three new comedy specials with the comedian.

Netflix just dropped a bomb today. The streaming service has revealed they have plans to drop three new comedy specials with Dave Chappelle. We’re expecting greatness.

This will be the first time Dave Chappelle will be on our television screens in long form since he walked away from his popular Comedy Central sketch show Chappelle’s Show almost ten years ago.

This comes just one week after Chappelle made his television comeback by hosting Saturday Night Live. This news also comes months after Netflix announced they have agreed to pay Chris Rock $40 million for two comedy specials as well. So it’s safe to assume that Chappelle just got “rich b*tch” again.

This news is also great for Netflix as the Black comedy specials they have given us so far from Chris Tucker, Mike Epps and Cedric The Entertainer were average at best. A tandem of Rock and Chappelle in 2017 with the state this country is in will be nothing less than monumental. Especially since Netflix is all for pushing envelopes and stepping over boundaries content wise.

More news as this develops.
