Cleveland Cavaliers center Channing Frye will be out indefinitely to mourn the death of his father who passed away on Thanksgiving.
Channing Frye is urging people around the world love on their family as much as possible this holiday season. In an Instagram post made on Thursday, the 33-year old athlete revealed that his father passed away.
“On a day for thanks. Be thankful for the person next to you. My father passed away today. Y’all better love on your family,” he wrote.
The death comes almost exactly one month after Frye lost his mother, award-winning television journalist Karen Mulzac-Frye. She died on Oct. 27, he got his NBA Championship ring two days later.
