Gangsta rapper turned highly-accomplished actor Ice Cube portraying a schoolteacher isn’t a stretch. So the man born O’She Jackson looking to bless a fellow teacher with a proper fade after school—the premise of Fist Fight—is like the best of both worlds.
Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) plays an English teacher who snitched on Ron Strickland (Ice Cube) in what looks like an unruly as hell high school. Cube’s character challenges dude to a fight, and it pretty much goes viral.
Also in the flick are Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell (“22 Jump Street”), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Christina Hendricks(“Mad Men”) and more.
This looks promising.
