Rihanna threw some slick shade at the Beyhive after her ANTI album was snubbed from Album of the Year contention in favor of Beyonce’s Lemonade.
Apparently, Rihanna’s fans aren’t the only ones feeling a type of way over the Grammy‘s choosing to nominate ANTI for Record of the Year instead of Album of the Year. In the midst of all of the back and forth about how ANTI was actually better than Beyonce’s Lemonade, one particular comment stood out enough for Rihanna herself to c0-sign.
Per Real Talk, RiRi liked the status of one of her fans who drew up quite the explanation about why this happened.
While the comment didn’t drop any names, the reference to “they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else” while dropping the lemon emoji is obviously a shot at Bey.
Mrs. Knowles-Carter earned a record-setting nine nominations while Rihanna got eight. Had she been nominated for Song and Album of the year, she would have been at 10.
