The decline of Steve Francis has hit a new low. The former NBA All-Star turned himself in to police to face a burglary charge from earlier this year.

TMZ reports:

Steve Francis just posed for another mug shot, ’cause he finally turned himself in on a warrant stemming from a burglary charge earlier this year.

As we previously reported, the ex-NBA star was wanted by cops in Manatee, Florida after he allegedly ransacked a stranger’s car back in June and stole over $7k in stuff.

Francis was arrested for DWI in Houston a few weeks ago — and when Florida police caught wind of that, they issued a warrant for his arrest for the burglary incident.

According to jail records, Francis turned himself in early Monday on a burglary of an unoccupied conveyance charge — a 3rd degree felony that carries up to 5 years in prison.

His bond is set at $1,500.

Francis reportedly tried to turn himself in the week that he committed the robbery, but the police let him go without charging him with anything. But they changed their minds and decided that they were going to charge him after all and put out a warrant for his arrest.
