Holiday-themed raps around this time of year are not new, but mostly focused around Christmas. When you think of the eight-day Jewish holiday Hanukkah, however, you immediately conjure the image of Oakland rap legend Too Short, right? We thought so.  The rapper born Todd Shaw apparently knows a little about the “Festival Of Lights” and dropped a new jam, exclusively via TMZ,  just as the holiday winds down this coming Sunday.

We’re not sure of the title, maybe titled “Judah MaccaBIATCH,” but the head-nodding track opens with some smooth vocals, and Too Short accurately lays out a few of the holiday’s traditions. “I’m frying latkes, making a mess/with some Jewish girls, pinchin’ tookus/” – then raps about eating Jewish brisket, matzo ball soup, and even speaks Yiddish. The payoff is the end of Short’s verse where his customary “biatch” adlib is used to clever effect.

Not too shabby.
