After releasing his 11th album of two decades-plus career, rap veteran Nas has enjoyed a great year and intends to end 2012 with a bang. The Life Is Good rapper will be performing at the famed Radio City Music Hall in New York City this coming New Year’s Eve. As an added treat, Nas has joined with Charitybuzz to offer fans a chance to bid on a pair of backstage and VIP concert tickets for the lavish bash. Best of all, the proceeds are going to a great charity.

Via the joint venture with Charitybuzz, Nas hopes to raise funds for the Madison Square Garden’s Garden Of Dreams Foundation. The foundation provides charitable events, such as the “Make A Dream Come True” where kids can meet their favorite athletes and stars, and activities for children in the tri-state that are facing obstacles.  Charitybuzz has done similar ventures with Kanye West and Russell Simmons as well.

Nas seems to be pretty pumped up for the concert as well, after issuing a written statement regarding the event. “There is no better place for me to spend New Year’s Eve than New York City, and there aren’t many better places to perform in this world than Radio City,” says Nas via the press statement.

Bidding on the Nas tickets will be open until December 27. The concert takes place on December 31 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
