With T3 at the helm, the newly formed Slum Village returns with another jam from the forthcoming Dirty Slums 2, titled “Riot.” Rapper Big Pooh, Joe Scudda, and Kam Corvet assist Slum Vil in their lyrical efforts on a track featuring a lulling melody, layered with knocking drums.

Each MC takes a step on the proverbial soapbox to verbally body the raw track. With a lineup like this, one should expect nothing but lyricism here folks.

The aforementioned Dirty Slums 2 releases January 29, and will be hosted by DJ Mick Boogie. Slum Village somehow bested the project’s previous sample “Decadence,” which was also very impressive. Fans will question why T3 is the only group member to appear on”Riot,” but it’s our guess that the D-town MC simply selected the best music for the fans.

Slum Village welcomes everyone in the Detroit area January 25 to celebrate the release of Dirty Slums 2. More information about the party can be found below.
