Honey Nut Cheerios might just be having the best week ever. The cereal became the talk of the NBA, Twitter and everything in between amid rumors that Kevin Garnett told Carmelo Anthony that his wife tasted of the sweet morning treat.

After a couple days of silence, Anthony’s wife, La La  spoke out.

The reality star took to Twitter to laugh off claims that the altercation was over cereal. “Not for nothing, but we ALL deserve a check or some free cereal 4all the publicity we’ve given Honey Nut Cheerios! LOL#cantbelieveeverything,” she wrote.

However, what she failed to answer was the question as to whether or not her marriage is on the rocks.

The former MTV host and her husband chronicled their walk down the aisle for a VH1 reality special that resulted in the 33-year-old landing her own show. Over the years, her career has grown from television personality to socialite, as she is aligned with the likes of Kim Kardashian, and is working on building a brand that includes her Motives cosmetics line.

Her busy bi-coastal schedule and being a full-time mother, has taken away from time spent with Carmelo, but that doesn’t mean they’re splitting. “It is true they haven’t seen much of each other in the past few months,” revealed a friend of the twosome. “She’s been away a lot filming her show La La’s Full Court Life, in London, New York and LA. They are not separated and are still together. She and Melo have a house in LA—so she’s always there when she’s doing auditions.”

Footage of altercation between Melo and KG was obtained by TMZ, and while exactly what the two men were arguing over cannot be heard, there was definitely bad blood between them.

The New York Knicks later suspended its small forward for his actions.
