BET’s Real Husbands Of Hollywood mock-reality show appears to be a hit.

Helmed by Kevin Hart, and featuring the likes of J.B Smoove, Robin Thicke, Nelly, Nick Cannon, and more,  the show grabbed a larger audience than any other scripted program airing in its time slot.

According to Vulture.com, RHOH earned a 2.0 rating (or 4 million viewers) among the coveted 18-49 demographic.  That means BET won it’s time slot over everything on NBC, ABC, and Fox.

“I personally thank you on behalf of the rest of the cast we thank you,” Hart told an audience at the Los Angeles screening of RHOH, last week. “We put a group of people together that I did not see ever coming together. All egos were put to the side, we all made a great television show.”

Hart went on to state the motivation behind the show came out of the popularity of reality TV hits like the Real Housewives of Atlanta. “We all talk trash about them, but nobody’s mocked them. We took the opportunity to mock them the only way we know how, by making fun of ourselves as an example.”

BET was able to keep interest high for its Second Generation Wayans show which aired directly after RHOH and averaged 3.4 million viewers. Additionally, encore presentations of both show brought in more big numbers, giving BET a total of 11 million viewers.
