“AK-47. The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherf***er in the room, accept no substitutes,” as quoted by Samuel L. Jackson’s character Ordell Robbie, plays intro on a new track by buzzing MC Asaad, aptly titled “AK47.” But in this case, the killing occurs in a less literal sense than that of Tarantino’s Jackie Brown.

Here, the tongue is in fact mightier than the sword, according to the Philly MC, though his music conflicts that he’s more Malcolm than Martin. Fellow City of Brotherly Love rappers Wyo and Fool’s Gold signee GrandeMarshall appear along side Asaad on the track. Standing at just under 10 minutes, “AK47” is raw rap with no chorus, quickly transitioning from a soulful loop into a trap-inspired jam halfway through.

Production duo Nascent and QB created the captivating, two-part track set to appear on Asaad’s forthcoming project, 006. Also known as Mr. White Lighter, the up-and-comer has remained fairly quiet since the release of his buzz worthy Troy EP last year, showing promise on tracks like “Raekwon Rap.”

Interested? Well you’ll have to wait a while for 006, but check out “AK47” below in the mean time.
