Slum Village preps the release of their latest mixtape, Dirty Slums 2, with this latest record called “The World Is Yours.”
This Young RJ produced record features a contribution from the late Baatin, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 35 years old. Dirty Slums 2 is set to drop tomorrow on websites everywhere and will be hosted by DJ Mick Boogie.
This percussion heavy record also samples Nas‘ iconic Illmatic single on the hook. This smooth record gives the feel of a jam session over some pounding drums and snares over the background. It’s a quick record, but it serves it’s purpose to get OG Slum fans ready for their new project tomorrow.
