Rumor has it that T.I. is seeking a major payout at his next label home, to the tune of $75 million. When asked by The Urban Daily of the alleged bidding war, “The Kang” cleverly responded without actually giving a real answer. “Hey look man I see all that sh-t man,” he said. “I respect my present partners at Atlantic records and had there ever been a separation between them and myself I would respect my new partners in such a way that I’m not gonna sensationalize anything.”

Tip has been with Atlantic for years, and while he didn’t want to commit to confirming news that a split was on the horizon, he vowed to treat any and all business deals with the same amount of respect. “They give me my fair market value for what it is I have to offer.  And if you want to be in business with me let’s give each other 110 percent. But just going out and doing gossip type stories that ain’t a huge part of what I do.

“I’d love to stay where I am. It’d have to be shown that the feeling is mutual and the way you do that is on paper with commitment to dollars.”

If a new deal is in the works, the Atlanta native will include his entire brand by adding the signing of all his Grand Hustle artists, endorsements, touring, merchandising, and other amenities, to the mix.
