Future ft. Trae The Truth – “Long Live The Pimp” [VIDEO]

Our reigning heavyweight champion of the hook game, Future Hendrix, drops another video off of his Pluto 3D album called “Long Live The Pimp.”

The Epic Records-signee leaves the autotune at home for this new joint that features Trae The Truth. With white cups surrounding the set, the dreadlocked rapper/singer drops a few bars and leaves the melodies behind for a change as he keeps it gutter with some of Texas’ finest.

Future Vandross shows love to the Lone Star State by shouting out artists such as Bun B,  Slim Thug, Jas Prince and most of all Pimp C, who the song is named after. Pimp C’s influential impact has lasted well beyond his passing especially within the younger generation of artists and Future is just another example of such.

Trae’s gravely voice along with Future’s pitchy flow is a stark contrast from one another in this song but they come together quite well on this beat produced by Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E.

It’s a dirty south thing, so after the jump get a look at Future’s “Long Live The Pimp” and if you haven’t bought Pluto, get it here.
