Snoop Lion drops a video for “Here Comes The King” from his forthcoming Reincarnated Reggae album.

“If you here me come and join the revolution,” says Snoop on the buzzing, Major Lazer produced track. The song is  co-written by Angela Hunte, who wrote Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind.” Less than week ago, the former Death Row MC dropped a video for “Lighter’s Up,” featuring Mavado and Popcaan.

The Reincarnated documentary that chronicles Snoops spiritual journey in Jamaica that led to the recording of the album will be in theaters March 15 in six cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami and New York City). The movie was produced by VICE Films and Snoopadelic Films and was directed by Andy Capper. The film’s official US premiere will be at the SXSW Film Conference & Festival.

Recently, Snoop responded diplomatically to Reggae legend Bunny Wailer, who has threatened to sue the “Deep Cover” rapper for allegedly being insincere about his Rastafarianism. Accord to Wailer it may be a ploy to just sell records, a claim which Snoop has dismissed.

Reincarnated, the album, will be in stores in April 2013 via VICE/RCA. Watch the Andy Capper directed video for “Here Comes The King” below.
