For those of you wondering, “What has Waka Flocka been up to?,” Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club has you covered. The Atlanta rapper stopped through the station to provide updates on his work ethic, Gucci Mane’s turn as a speaker at a middle school and venturing off into other genres of music, for safety concerns.

After Angela Lee asked about the letter Uncle Luke wrote Rick Ross telling him to chill on the gangsta talk before he gets really hurt, Waka added his two cents.

“Welcome to the world baby, welcome to the life, that’s all I can tell him,” said Waka, who has had his own issues on the street. “I’ve been going through that since I started. That’s easy, though. When you got money, you should have problems, that’s how I feel. When I get to a level where that man is, you better hope you don’t utter a word. I’m telling you, I feel sorry for whoever utter a word if I ever get in a position like that. It would be a lot of examples.”

The “Round Of Applause” rapper added that other genres don’t have to deal with dangerous rapper drama and also mentioned that you get back what you put out there. “Yeah, you live longer,” Waka told Charlamagne Tha God. “And it’s what you say out your mouth, what you bring around you, too. That’s what my boy rapping about, that’s what it’s going to be then. There’s people out there that’s really on it. You gotta respect the game.”

Waka’s latest mixtape, DuFlocka Rant 2, is out now.  Watch the full interview, including Waka laughing about Gucci Mane talking to the kids and saying “Man, you don’t need no education for rapping,” below.
