If raw, unfiltered rap is what you seek, then look no further. Hip-Hop fans receive just that on a street track titled “Confessions Of A Cash Register” by perhaps the most unlikely candidate in Mac Miller. The Pittsburgh Rapper is joined by Prodigy of the legendary M-O-B-B on a record that’s sounds like the theme song for a stick up, with content that follows suit.

Sonically, the record falls in line with P’s catalogue, which has a lot to do with the fact that The Alchemist co-produced the gritty jam. Mac Miller, under his Larry Fisherman moniker, backed Alan the Chemist on the production tip, adding his own little flair to the beat.

“Confessions Of A Cash Register” kicks off 2013 for Complex’s Man of the Year, who’s prepping Pink Slime with Pharrell, as well as a proper new album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off. Both are set to release before year’s end.

Mac Miller also has a reality show in the works with MTV, titled Mac Miller And The Most Dope Family, that will shadow the Pittsburgh rapper as he creates his new album and lives in Los Angeles with a bunch of his close friends.
