LL Cool J was at the Power 106 Valentine’s Day Crush concert last night in Los Angeles, California close to a week after hosting the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
Mr. Smith, who closed the show with his new single “Whaddup,” spoke to Rikki Martinez about what to expect on the new album Authentic. “You know what, it feels good. It feels really good. I love it so much, I love music so much and when you love something like this it is a part of your soul,” LL stated.
“You just can’t stop creating, I got to just keep doing it. I just love it so much. As you evolve and mature and as you grow, your mind changes and you think of new ideas and new ways to say thinks, so I just create and I love it. I’m really happy about my new record.”
The self-proclaimed G.O.A.T. also stated that he won’t stray away from making the records that made him a household name.
“I have some love records on there. I have some romantic records on there. I have some hard records on there I got some funny records on there. I got a lot of different types of styles.”
