Omarion’s Love & Other Drugs album has no release date, but the guest list is looking solid.Maybach Music Group’s resident crooner teamed with Pharrell Williams, and Tank, for the project.

Love & Other Drugs will mark the former B2K frontman’s fourth release, and debut on MMG. Last fall, he dropped his Care Package mixtape, which has been downloaded nearly 150,000 times on Datpiff.

In an interview with HipHopDX, O broke down the journey that has become this album. “That’s the most important thing, just growing up and showing different sides of my music and myself, especially being with the crew that I’m with,” he said. “It’s been a journey but I think I’m piquing the curiosity of people with my music and where I’m taking it. That’s been enough for me.”

Calling on Tank was familiar territory, since he’s been part of “every project” Omarion’s done since going solo, but the work with Williams is still up in the air. “I cut some records with Pharrell. I don’t know whether we’re going to be able to keep him on the album, but he’s someone who’s worked with me and is an all-time favorite to me. When I look back on the records I’ve done, that’s something that sticks out to me. Pharrell, Tank… A lot of new producers. I’m working with Eric Hudson again. James Fauntleroy.

“I haven’t gone crazy [with] feature[s] on my album because this is the mature me, the more authentic me.”

Omarion also announced plans to join forces with his MMG fam for the remix to “M.I.A.
