This past weekend trapstar/do-gooder,  Young Jeezy, was honored by Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee during All-Star weekend.

The TM-103 rapper was honored with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s Executive Assistant, Janice Weaver. He was presented with this certificate for his involvement with the 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend and his support of local Houston businesses, such as Houston Bentley – Post Oak Motor Cars.

The Lone Star state welcomed Jizzle to the bottom of the map with a classy reception in the rapper’s honor before he was given the certificate. “The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to them their own, the framed document read.

Doing good in the community is nothing new for Snow, as he’s been known to give away toys in the hood on Christmas every year. ‘I’m on my Nino Brown, Frank Lucas tour you know. I like to do things up close and personal with the people. I’ve been giving back for twelve years now, way before rap,” said Young Jeezy in an earlier video. “It just my way of doing things man, I give back to the people who give to me and have been a big part of my career and my struggle. I relate to them I’m the people’s champ.”
