“At the end of the day, you know I ain’t never gonna give up on ya’ll, I hope ya’ll don’t give up on me.  I still got a lot more to go, I still got a lot more to do.”

When Raekwon decided to return to the Hip Hop scene in 2009 with the sequel, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, no one could have imagined the product that he had in store for the fans as he wouldn’t have been able to imagine the great response that he received from the project.

Being deemed as the top album of 2009 by Time Magazine and compared to such exceptional sequels as The Godfather 2, the year has been very good for the Wu Tang member.

Always one to count his blessings, the Chef takes some time out to show his appreciation for his fans and the support that they have been able to give him for the year. Sometimes success isn’t strictly based off of how many units are sold.

With 2009 coming to a close, Rae is far from done bringing more for the streets to feed off as he still has some more visuals that he is developing for the world to see as well as other projects with his IceWater brand.

As 2010 is opening, Hip Hop can still look forward to new material from Rae when he teams up with Method Man and Ghostface Killah for their upcoming project, The Wu Massacre, set to drop in February.
