An elderly Connecticut man let his ax do the talking, after he was kicked out of a local Dunkin’ Donuts location. Wilfred Levine was booted from the establishment Wednesday (March 6), for being drunk and loitering, only to return to seek vengeance.

Cops says Levine, of New Britain, Conn., was asked to leave before being escorted out of the location. When he came back—ax in hand–the 63-year-old smashed the store’s front window, and jumped on the counter, demanding to see the two employees that made him get out. Once police made it to the scene, they told Levine to drop the weapon.

He refused, and was zapped with a stun gun.

“The officers involved in this incident acted with extreme restraint and the utmost professionalism,” explained New Britain Police Lt. Christopher Chute. “The officers employed sound tactics and were able to subdue the suspect without using deadly physical force.”

No one was hurt in the incident.

Levine was taken into custody and faces first-degree criminal mischief, possession of a dangerous weapon, and assault on an officer. He was said to have lost it because he was upset over the death of his wife.
