If you can believe it or not, Mad Decent rapper RiFF RaFF is prepping a full length album that will feature some of Hip-Hop’s most sought after artists. Seriously.
The self-proclaimed “Rap Game Larry Bird” will be dropping an LP titled Neon Icon later in 2013 and will feature a whose who of Hip-Hop.
“We got a big album coming out, the Neon Icon. Got Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, YG, Snoop, you know I got these big names on it,” RiFF RaFF told DJ Semtex. “You know when you’re working with somebody [Diplo] like that, I’d rather work with a big producer who works with big artists. Future, Drake, you know what I mean so I got all these big artists on my album, it’s going to be a monumental album.”
Jody Highroller may have his critics, but the former G’s To Gents star has parlayed his reality show success into legitimate fan base over the years after stand out [if we can call it that] appearances on Action Bronson and Harry Fraud’s “Bird On A Wire,” and many others. His persona also inspired the character that James Franco will play in the upcoming movie, Spring Breakers.
