While Allen Iverson‘s NBA career is looking like a done deal with every passing day, sneakerheads are getting the opportunity to cop the signature kicks he rocked in his glory days. Foot Locker get the exclusive on Philadelphia Sixers colorways of the Reebok Answer IV.
Says Foot Locker:
This week Foot Locker will exclusively release two new pairs of the Reebok Answer IV in the retro “PHILA” colorways on Friday, March 15th. Both pairs feature the a mix of the red, white, and blue colorways, worn by the Sixers during A.I.’s rookie year, and by the present team today. Though the silhouette and design is preserved, the sneakers have been constructed with materials that do not usually appear on the Answer IV. The two pairs sport suede toe boxes, leather inner linings, tumbled leather uppers, and icy colored outsoles. The iconic features like the I3 brand logo, zipper lace cover, Iverson portrait and his “Only the Strong Survive” mantra on the outsole are all preserved.
Both colorways of the shoe drop tomorrow, Friday, March 15, exclusively at Foot Locker and Footlocker.com beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET and will run you back $125 each. Peep which stores will be carrying the kicks right here so you don’t play yourself.
