Producer Marco Polo drops the follow up to Rakim’s “What’s Wrong” with a track by another one of the culture’s all time greats, Big Daddy Kane. Titled “Nite & Day,” the song is a Hip-Hop lover’s dream.
The Brooklyn lyricist gives listeners the game from an O.G.’s perspective, by telling us not to live beyond your means. In other words, if you’ve ever bought a pretty girl a $16 dollar drink at club, knowing you haven’t paid your bills…this one is for you.
“Nite & Day” is slattd to appear on Marco Polo’s forthcoming free LP, Newport Authority 2. Fans can expect appearances from the aforementioned Rakim, Artifacts, Das Efx, Lil Fame (M.O.P.), Torae, Ruste Juxx and more on the project.
