While Lil Wayne recuperates in a Los Angeles hospital after another seizure, plenty of his famous friends have been coming by to visit. Also, T.I. had some choice words for TMZ about the way in which the reports of Weezy’s recent trip to the ER was handled.

As previously reported, TMZ nearly broke the Internet when it reported that Tunechi was knocking on death’s door on Friday night (March 15), with doctors having to pump his stomach three times to remove drugs, allegedly sizzurp, from his system. However, YMCMB members like Birdman and Mack Maine furiously denied claims that his friend was on the brink of death, with Wayne himself allegedly sending out a tweet that read, “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”

Now that its been established that the “No Worries” rapper will pull through—YMCMB rapper Drake, NBA All-Star Chris Paul and his daddy Birdman are a few of the people that have checked in on Weezy—the backlash against TMZ has been very vocal. T.I., who says he spoke to Weezy, went in on the news outlet while at SXSW. “TMZ, all of y’all take this entertainment sh-t way too far my ni–a” T.I. told SkeeTV. “We men first. We got mommas, we got kids, we got families, man. When they hurt, we hurt, understand that.” Tip also slandered TMZ via Twitter, too.

Nevertheless, it is way past time to slow down, Wayne. Check out photos of Drake, Chris Paul and Birdman heading to Cedars Sinai Medical Center to support their ill friend, and T.I.’s tweets, in the gallery.
