We cannot stress enough how unnecessary “behind the scenes” or “trailer” for four-minute long rap videos really are. Nevertheless, we are posting this preview of Nicki Minaj’s “High School” video for a couple of reasons.
First off, the clip features Lil Wayne looking in good health. This is in steep contrast to the rapper spending almost a week in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai medical center after suffering another seizure, and possible a drug overdose. Weezy was released from the hospital yesterday so hopefully he is on to a speedy recovery. More importantly, let’s hope someone on his team can get through to him and encourage him to alter his lifestyle and avoid anymore hospital visits.
Secondly, in the clip the YMCMB Barbie, who recently declared she is giving up the day-glo outfits and hair, is seen running around in revealing bathing suit and frolicking in a bikini. [Note: forgive for the use of the word “frolicking.”]
Also, Bryan “Birdman” Williams also makes an appearance in the clip while some big security dude seems to get a kick of picking up the American Idol host throughout the footage.
