Lil Wayne is out of the hospital and has a new album promote. Tunechi drops a new single featuring the one and only Juicy J, so of course the song is titled “Trippy.”
The “No Worries” rapper was in the ICU for allegedly OD’ing on that lean, though Birdman says it was merely working too hard. The aformentioned events make make you wince when listening to this new tune since he is basically rapping about getting high on various drugs, including the one that allegedly landed him in the hospital.
“I’m stoned, Mick Jagger, I can run around Saturn/Eyes rolling back, and keep blinking like hazards/I say king me, king me with my mushroom crown on/I graduated to better drugs, my cap and gown on/Don’t knock me off my high horse, what I do is my choice/I’m high as the scoreboard, b-tch look up at my points,” spits the YMCMB rapper. The buzzing and tumbling groove was produced by Juicy J and Crazy Mike.
The Three 6 Mafia veteran and Taylor Gang delegate holds down the hook, spouting, “Weed, bills and that drink, that’s my trippy kit,” and also knocks out the last verse.
Weezy’s new album, I Am Not A Human Being 2, is due in stores March 26. Doesn’t seem like a stint in the hospital where he was reportedly too close to death for comfort isn’t going to slow down his hustle.
