We receive more vicious beats from Harry Fraud on a collaborative project with SRFSCHL (pronounced Surf School) up-and-comer Eddie B titled Horsepower. The mixtape contains 19 songs, 10 of which are actual tracks and nine others that are instrumentals for each song.

Those unfamiliar with the Brooklyn wordsmith get fairly acquainted with his dexterous rhyme skills early on in the tape, as he rises to the occasion by decimating each beat Fraud throws at him.

Eddie B limits the guest appearances to fellow New Yorkers, featuring artists like Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, Apathy, Maffew Ragazino, Adrian Lau, and Shabaam Sahdeeq on the tape.

You’re in luck if you like what you hear, and can expect a lot more work from Eddie B and Fraud, who are actually longtime childhood friends and collaborators. Pair Horsepower with the NYC producer’s recent work on his Adrift mixtape and his contributions to Peter Rosenberg’s The New York Renaissance, and we’d say that you have a hell of a playlist for Spring 2013.
